VIDEO: ‘These questions are asking the wrong place’, Shikhar Dhawan provoked on the journalist, but the cricketer’s reply won the hearts of 150 crore Indians
In the World Championship of Legends Tournament, India Champions refused to play against Pakistan and now a journalist asked Shikhar Dhawan again whether he would play in the semi -finals against Pakistan Champions, then Dhawan got angry at it. Dhawan was quite angry at the journalist who asked him the question related to Pakistan.
Dhawan said that this question should not have been asked by that journalist. In this video that surfaced on social media, Dhawan was asked that if both teams clash in the semi -finals of the World Championship of Legends tournament, will they come on the field against Pakistan? The left -arm opener did not like this question and made his stand clear.
He said, “You are asking these questions at the wrong time and wrong place. You should not have asked it and if I had not played before, I will not play still.”
This video of Dhawan is becoming quite viral. Let us know that India’s knockout is less likely to confront Pakistan, because the team is at the bottom of the table. He has lost two of his first three matches and is still looking for his first win in this season. To have any hope of qualification, India will have to defeat both England and West Indies in their remaining group-stage matches. On the other hand, Pakistan is in excellent form, winning three consecutive wins and remains comfortable in second place.
The Indian Champions team was scheduled to compete with the Pakistan Champion team in a high-voltage match in Edgbaston on Sunday, July 20. This was to be a rematch of the final of the previous season, where India won the first WCL title. However, exactly three months after the tragic attack in Pahalgam, the match was canceled after a sharp response against the Indian team on social media.
Many other senior Indian players including Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan had withdrawn their names from the match as a protest. WCL organizers later admitted that the India-Pakistan match event unknowingly became a problem soon after the Pahalgam incident.
