The Indian Army on Monday killed 3 Pakistani terrorists hiding in Lidwas area of Srinagar under Operation Mahadev. Chinar Corps gave this information on X.

The slain terrorists include Hashim Musa, the main accused in the Pahalgam attack. According to the news agency PTI, army officials have confirmed that the killed terrorist was Hasim Musa.

Army spokesperson said that efforts are on to identify the terrorists. However, one of the remaining two terrorists is being said to be involved in the attack on the 2024 Sonmarg tunnel project.

American M4 Carbine, AK-47, 17 rifles and grenades have been found from the terrorists. Some more suspected goods have also been recovered. The army can give information on Operation Mahadev on Tuesday.

According to the army, a search operation was conducted in Lidwas after receiving intelligence at 11 am. During this, the sound of firing was heard twice from far away. The deployment of security forces in the area has been increased.

After a technical indication similar to the equipment used by the terrorists of the Pahalgam attack, the campaign started in Harwan’s forests.
Around 11:30 pm, a contingent of 24 Rashtriya Rifles and 4 para units of soldiers discovered three terrorists and suddenly attacked them.
26 people were killed and 16 people were seriously injured in the Pahalgam attack on 22 April. Terrorists were selectively targeted by the tourists on the basis of their religious identity. The incident took place in the Bisaran Valley, 6 km from the city of Pahalgam.

It had three terrorists names, Adil Hussain of Anantnag, Hashim Musa alias Suleman and Ali alias Talha Bhai. Moses and Ali are Pakistani. Moses has been a commando in Pakistan’s Special Service Group. A reward of 20 lakh rupees has also been placed on these.

At present, it is not clear whether the two accused arrested by the NIA revealed the names of these three terrorists or any other terrorists.
