Delhi: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced on social media network Truth Social that India would pay 25 percent tariffs on goods exported to the US from August 1. Trump has also imposed a fine on India. Trump had set a time limit of August to impose tariffs on dozens of countries including India. High fees were announced in April, but later they were reduced and stopped for negotiations.
