India Champions withdraw from WCL 2025 Semifinal: The ongoing tension between India and Pakistan has once again been seen on the cricket ground. In the World Championship of Legends (WCL 2025), India Champions have refused to play a semi -final match against Pakistan, and with this the team has officially withdrawn the name from the tournament.

The semi -finals were to be played on 31 July at Edgbaston, but the Indian team’s stance was already clear, ‘Terrorism and cricket cannot run together’. In the league stage too, when the India-Pakistan match was to be held on July 20, the same protest was revealed and the match was canceled. Now something similar happened before the semi -finals.

After this decision, Pakistan has reached the final without playing because the Bah is above India in the mark. The World Championship of Legends (WCL) has given this information on its social media account. Posting on social media, WCL wrote, “In WCL we always believe that the game has the power to inspire people and bring positive changes in the world. But, it is most important to respect the spirit of the public, after all, whatever we do for our audience only. After considering all aspects, the match between India Champions and Pakistan Champions has been canceled that Pakistan Champions will now reach the finals.

You will remember, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir in April. Since then, veterans like former Indian players Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan refused to play against Pakistan. And now the same stand was also repeated in the semi -finals.

Significantly, this is the second season of WCL. Last year, India Champions defeated Pakistan and won the title. This time too, the team was in excellent form and reached the semi -finals after defeating the West Indies. But this time, keeping the country interest up, he has taken a big decision to withdraw from the tournament.
