Superco played an important role in the launch. According to Pakistan’s official radio, “This satellite is expected to help in dealing with challenges like floods, landslides, glacier melting and deforestation.”

Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal appreciated this achievement in a post on social media and said, “Today is another glorious moment for our country, as Pakistan has successfully launched its fourth Earth observation satellite under the Pakistan Space Program from the Xichang Space Center in China.”

Iqbal praised Superco’s contribution and said that this achievement reflects the increasing strength of Pakistan-China space cooperation. He wrote in a post on ‘X’, “This achievement is important not only to promote Pakistan’s technical capabilities but also to take Pakistan-China friendship beyond the sky.”

Remote sensing satellites are satellites that collect data related to the surface, oceans, forests, climate and environment from space. These satellites get photos and information there with the help of sensors without going to some place.
