New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation, ie CBI, has achieved great success in bringing Udit Khullar, the absconding accused in a bank fraud case of Rs 4.55 crore, back to India from the United Arab Emirates. Udit Khullar was brought from Dubai on 01 August 2025 at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The CBI completed this action through Interpol in collaboration with the National Central Bureau at Abu Dhabi i.e. NCB. The role of International Police Cooperation Unit (IPCU) and CBI was very important in this operation.

In which case was Udit Khullar Wanted?

A case has been registered against Udit Khullar in the Special Cell of Delhi Police. This case was registered in Adajan police station. He is accused of acquiring fake home loans from the bank through forgery and fraud, along with his colleagues. Investigations have revealed that Udit Khullar submitted fake documents for 3 different home loans in the bank. The properties whose paper she gave to the bank was not really her. Many other people were also involved in this conspiracy. On the basis of these fake documents, a total loan of Rs 4.55 crore was raised from government and private banks.

Khullar was arrested in UAE

Udit Khullar’s location was traced to UAE after the CBI’s strict monitoring and interpol channels. He was arrested there and then at the request of CBI, the UAE administration submitted him to India. The CBI, which is the National Central Bureau of Interpol in India, successfully carried out the process. This action was completed with the cooperation of all agencies through India’s Bharatpol network.

More than 100 criminals returned through interpol channels

According to the CBI, over 100 wanted criminals have been brought back to India through Interpol in the last few years. Udit Khullar’s return is part of this campaign and it is considered a major success for the law and order of the country.
