Lahore: In the Punjab province of Pakistan, several dozen dozen bandits armed with heavy weapons attacked a police post in which five policemen of the special force were killed. Officials have given information about the incident on Friday. Inspector General of Police Usman Anwar said that around 40 bandits armed with rocket laccher and grenade attacked the Shekhani police post in Rahim Yar Khan on Thursday night. Anwar said, “The bandits attacked the midnight like a coward.”
A robber was also killed
The Inspector General of Police Office said in a statement that five officers of the Special Force of Punjab Police have been killed. The three killed officers were from Bahawalnagar, while the other two were from Rahim Yar Khan. The statement said that a robber has also been killed in the police counter -firing. Police have sealed the entry and exit points in the area. A search operation has been started to find the bandits.

Meanwhile, let us also tell here that the raw area of Rahim Yaar Khan, called Chambal of Pakistan, is the shelter of bandits. Police are also afraid of entering this area situated on the banks of the river. After committing the crime, the robber comes and hides here after which no one feels their inkling. In recent times, the Punjab Police has launched a campaign against the bandits in the raw area of Rahim Yar Khan. In such a situation, there has been an encounter of police and dacoits.
The bandits kidnapped Hindu youths
It is worth noting that in the month of January this year, three Hindu youths were abducted by the bandits in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The bandits had demanded the police to release their comrades instead. Failure to do so was also threatened to kill the kidnapped Hindus. The incident took place in Bhong area of Rahim Yar Khan district. (Language)
