Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav’s name has been cut off from the voter list. Tejashwi Yadav himself gave this information in a press conference in Patna on Saturday.
He said, ‘Blo came and we have done verification. Still there is no name in the voter list.
At the same time, when Dainik Bhaskar asked whether your wife’s voter ID card was made or not. He said, ‘How will my wife become when I do not make me.’ He also asked the Commission, ‘Now how will I contest elections’.
Tejashwi Yadav issued his voter ID card at the press conference. To see his name in the voter list, the EPIC number was entered, whose results were written- No records found. Tejashwi showed this entire process on screen.
Bhaskar checked- both names were found in the list
On Tejashwi Yadav’s charge, Dainik Bhaskar conducted a cross verification of the draft voter list released by the Election Commission. We started searching his name at the library building of the Animal Science University of Digha in booth number-204 of Digha assembly constituency of Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav on its number number 416 and his wife Rajshree on 445 are named.
DM also confirmed, husband-wife names in list
Patna DMSN Tyagarajan also approved Bhaskar’s fact check. After a while, he issued a list and called Tejashwi’s claim wrong. He has released the booth list, with the name of Tejashwi Yadav at number 416, his picture.
The DM said that ‘some news mediums have received information that Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s name is not in the voter list of special intensive revision. This was investigated by the District Administration, Patna. It was revealed that the name of the Leader of Opposition is recorded in the voter list.
At present, his name is mentioned on polling station number 204, Bihar Animal Science University Library Building, Serial No. 416. Earlier, his name was recorded on the library building of Bihar Animal Sciences University, polling station number 171, serial number 481.
