A major decision has been taken on Wednesday at the Union Cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Modi cabinet has decided to conduct caste census across the country. Caste census will be conducted in India after 94 years. The castes were counted in the 2011 census but its figures never came to light. At the same time, now a credit war has started among the opposition parties regarding this decision of the Modi government. The Congress is describing the decision of caste census as a victory of Rahul Gandhi, while the RJD has given a credit to Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav by putting up posters in Patna.

Dharmendra Pradhan responded to opposition

Dharmendra Pradhan has responded to the credit war between the opposition parties about the caste census. Pradhan said- “When this decision was made yesterday, some people were enraged. They were saying that the government is ours. Who was controlled by the government and the system in 1951? If there were no Baba Saheb and Mahatma Gandhi in the country, if there is no issue of social sensitivity in Nehru’s mind, if there is no need to consult the Constituent Assembly, then there was no reservation in the country today. Nehru was not reservation in the country. The Report of the Mandal Commission was also implemented against the BJP’s suggestion in VP Singh’s government.

There will be caste census all over the country

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had told on Wednesday that the Modi government will conduct caste census across the country. Castes will be counted along with the census. For the first time in independent India, the central government will conduct caste census. Ashwini Vaishnav also targeted the Congress for caste census. He said that the caste census was used by the Congress for its benefit.
