‘If we had played, we would have trampled Pakistan’, Suresh Raina broke silence after Pakistan’s defeat
South Africa Champions have won the World Championship of Legends title due to AB de Villiers’ stormy century. The African team defeated Pakistan Champions by 9 wickets in the final. Along with this, Raina also claimed that if India had played with Pakistan in the semi -finals, he would have defeated him too, but he said that the players decided to give priority to the country. India’s refusal to play with Pakistan was in the news. Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh and Pathan brothers withdrew their first match against Pakistan and after that the players refused to play in the semi -finals, after which India was out and Pakistan reached the final.
Posting on X, Suresh Raina wrote, “What a brilliant innings did AB de Villiers play in the final. If we had played, we would have dusted him, but we put our country above everything. The full respect of Easemytrip and Nishant Pitti, who firmly put his side and did not support any match related to him.”
What a Knock by @Abdevilliers17 in the final, absolutely smashed it
Had we played, we would’ve crushed them too, but we chose our nation about everything else.
Full respect to @Easemytrip and @nishantpitti For standing firm and not supporting any match involving them. That’s…

Talking about this match, after the first innings it seemed that Pakistan has made a big score and it would not be easy for the African team to achieve this goal but De Villiers’ innings not only made the match easy but also made unilateral for the African team.
De Villiers was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant innings and was also voted for a brilliant performance throughout the tournament.
