According to the information given by the Railways, under the new rule, vacant seats in Vande Bharat trains will now be available for current booking at the station stations, which will greatly benefit the passengers and also increase the number of passengers in the train.

According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Vande Bharat Express trains are running on all routes with more than 100 percent capacity. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) that the total occupancy in Vande Bharat Express trains in FY 2024-25 and 2025-26 (June 2025) is 102.01% and 105.03% in the Vande Bharat Express trains. There is a plan to run the Vande Bharat train on new routes in the coming time. Vande Bharat train is making railway passengers smooth travel in a short time.
