The union wrote on the social media forum ‘X’, 200 high-skilled IAM union members of Boeing went on strike at midnight.

Union general secretary Sam Sicinelie for the Middle West region said in a statement, members of IAM District 837 make aircraft and defense systems that keep our country safe. They are entitled to contracts that protect their families and recognize their unmatched expertise. Union leaders recommended the approval of the proposal at that time and called it a “historic agreement”. He had said that this proposal will improve the benefits of working on the other side of medical, pension and working hours. After this, within a week, the members of the union rejected Boeing’s latest proposal.

What was said by the company?

Dan Gilian, vice -president and general manager of Boeing Air Dominance, said that we are disappointed that our employees rejected the proposal. We are ready for the strike and we have fully implemented our casual plan to ensure that our employees and customers do not have any trouble. ‘ Boeing announced on Tuesday, improving his second quarter income and loss of deficit. Company in crisis due to crash of aircraft
