SC’s question with Rahul-how China grabbed land

The Supreme Court on Monday reprimanded Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over objectionable remarks on the Indian Army.

The court asked- How did you know that China has occupied 2000 square KM land of India, what is reliable information, if you were true Indians, they did not say so.

With this, the Supreme Court stayed the ongoing action against Rahul in Lucknow court in objectionable remarks on the army. The court has sent a notice to the complainant (Uday Shankar Srivastava) and the UP government in this case.

First understand the whole matter

Rahul made a controversial statement during the India Address Yatra on 16 December 2022. It was said- People will ask about the journey of India, but China has captured 2000 sq km Indian land, 20 Indian soldiers were killed and our soldiers are being beaten in Arunachal.

On Rahul’s statement, former director of Border Road Organization (BRO) Uday Shankar Srivastava filed a defamation case in Lucknow MP MLA.

On May 29 this year, the Allahabad High Court dismissed Gandhi’s petition and sent summons. Gandhi challenged summons and complaints. Said- The complaint was lodged in a malicious manner and under the maliciousness.

BJP said- question on Rahul Gandhi’s credibility

The BJP attacked the Congress and Rahul Gandhi on the Supreme Court’s remarks. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said in the press conference- Supreme Court’s comment raises questions on Rahul Gandhi’s credibility. How mature is he as a Congress party leader? This is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has shown anti -India mentality.

3 April 2025: Rahul claims- China occupies 4 thousand sq km of land

On April 3, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi surrounded the government over the celebration of the 75th anniversary of India-China diplomatic relations.

He had said that China was sitting on our 4 thousand sq km area, but I was surprised to see that our Foreign Secretary (Vikram Misri) was cutting cakes with the Chinese Ambassador.

During the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, Rahul said that we are not against the general situation, but before that we should get our land back.

He had said that I came to know that the President and the Prime Minister have written a letter to the Chinese ambassador and we are also aware of others. The Chinese Ambassador is telling the people of India that they were written.
