According to the information, many houses in the town have been swept away due to the sudden cloudburst due to the water that came with debris. According to reports, so far 10 people are killed in the incident, missing more than 40 people and being stuck of more than 100. The army has also rescued 20 people, accelerating relief work.
5 hotels completely destroyed
According to the information, 5 hotels have been completely destroyed in the disastrous floods in the Kheer Ganga river at Dharli, the main stop of Gangotri Dham. People said that clouds exploded somewhere in the water consumption area of Kheer Ganga, due to which this disastrous flood has occurred. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to disastrous floods. DM Prashant Arya of Uttarkashi said that there are many hotels and restaurants where the place has changed. Arya told that some tourists are also stranded there. According to reports, 10 people have died in the incident, and many people are missing. Rescuers have rescued 80 people.

PM Modi and Home Minister talk to Dhami
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a post on ‘X’ that no core is being left in providing help to the people. He said, ‘I express my condolences to the people affected by this tragedy at Dharali in Uttarkashi. Along with this, I wish for the skill of all the victims. I have taken information about the situation by talking to Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami ji. Relief and rescue teams under the supervision of the state government are engaged in every possible effort. No core is being left in providing help to the people. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke to Dhami and ordered to send 7 rescue teams to assist the affected people.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said- “The news of heavy losses caused by cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi) area is extremely sad and painful. SDRF, NDRF, district administration and other related teams are engaged in war level for relief and rescue operations. I am constantly in touch with senior officials and the situation is being monitored in this regard.
