At the same time, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and western Uttar Pradesh can record strong rains on Wednesday i.e. Wednesday. At the same time, torrential rains are expected during the next 5 days in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue during the next 7 days in Northeast and surrounding eastern India.
Rain activities will continue in these states till 11 August
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are expected to shine lightning at several places during August 6-11 and heavy rainfall continues in some places. At the same time, torrential rains may occur at some places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar during 6-11 August. The Meteorological Department said that there may be heavy rains in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Goa, Marathwada and many areas of Central Maharashtra till 7 August.
Flood warning in Tamil Nadu

Those living around the Bhavani river in Bhawanisagar, Satyamangalam, Gobichittipalayam and Bhavani areas have been advised to visit safe places.

Many districts of Madhya Pradesh along with Guna and Shivpuri are in flood. Relief and rescue teams have been deployed. Guna and Shivpuri are the most affected by floods.
