The scene was seen during the first match of the tournament played between the London Spirit and Oval Invinables. The incident occurred when the Invinsibles were trying to chase the target to win and Spirit’s fast bowler Daniel Warol was about to hit the ball. However, the decision proved wrong and Rashid Khan and Sam Curren destroyed the batting order of Spirit and consolidated the entire team for 80 runs in 94 balls.
In the run chase, Invinesals made a good start, but Spirit managed to take some wickets. However, in the end, captain Billings and Donovan Ferreira gave their team an easy win with 31 balls remaining. Rashid Khan was adjudged Player of the Match to take three wickets.
