Know when Team India will play the next match, the entire schedule up to T20 World Cup came out
Team India: The BCCI has officially released the list of upcoming matches of Team India, in which the entire program of the team has been reported before the T20 World Cup. From bilateral chains to major international matches, fans have now got a clear picture of when and where Team India will land.
The program includes both domestic and foreign seizures, which will give the players preparation time before the World Cup.
Team India’s next target Asia Cup 2025
After the drawing 2–2 against England, Team India’s cricket calendar is filled with tournaments and bilateral series in all formats for the remaining time of 2025.
After England, now the next tournament of Team India will be the Asia Cup starting in September. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from T20 international matches after the 2024 World Cup, so Suryakumar Yadav will lead the relatively youth team.
Test series of two matches against West Indies
In October after the Asia Cup, India will return to the red ball format and host the two -match Test series against the West Indies. These matches will be held in Ahmedabad and Delhi, which will be the second stop of India’s next World Test Championship (WTC) Chakra campaign.
After the Test series against the West Indies, India will go to Australia for three ODIs and five T20 Internationals. With this series, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will return to the national team, as they will continue to play in the 50 -over format.
India will end its year with a full domestic series against South Africa in November-December. Protiaz will play two Tests, three ODIs and five T20 Internationals, making it one of the longest bilateral tours of the year.
India, Sri Lanka will host 2026 T20 World Cup
India will hold the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup to Sri Lanka in February-March with Sri Lanka. After this global event, Team India will go on several international tours, including foreign tour against England, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
The Indian cricket team will play a series of two Tests against both the Sri Lanka Cricket Team (SRILanka) and New Zealand (New Zealnd), under their commitments of their World Test Championship 2025-27 (WTC).
