The country’s largest illegal arms supplier Sheikh Salim alias Salim Pistol has been arrested in the joint operation of Delhi Police Special Cell in Nepal and Indian security agencies. Salim Pistol was supplying state -of -the -art weapons from Pakistan to India for the last several years. Security agencies have also found evidence that Salim is related to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Daud Ibrahim’s D Company.

Salim pistol’s gangster network

Salim used to supply weapons coming from Pakistan to big gangsters like Salim Pistol Lawrence Bishnoi, Hashim Baba. He has even been the guru of an accused in the Sidhu Mosewala murder case.

Arrest has been done before

Salim was arrested by the Delhi Police in the year 2018, but later he fled abroad. Recently, the Special Cell of Delhi Police got input that Salim is hidden in Nepal. Acting on this input, security agencies nabbed him in Nepal.

Baba Siddiqui also came in the murder case

The name of Salim Pistol was also revealed in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Salim hails from Seilampur area of Delhi and its entire network was spread between India and Pakistan. Salim Pistol left her studies after eighth due to financial constraints. He became a car driver and got married in 1992.

• The fellow started stealing vehicles with fellow Mukesh Gupta alias Kaka.
• On 7 April 2000, a Maruti van was stolen from Chandni Chowk.

• Arrested on 25 May 2000.

2. Armed Robbery (2011)
• On 7 August 2011, a robbery of Rs 20 lakh was done on the strength of arms from a house in Jafarabad.
• FIR number: 243/2011 | Section 395/397 IPC
• Arrested on 18 September 2013 and sent to judicial custody.

Large success to security agencies

Security agencies have achieved great success with the arrest of Salim Pistol. This arrest is being considered a major step against the ongoing illegal weapons network in India. Now security agencies are investigating the network connected to it and its nexus with Pakistan.
