Washington: US President Donald Trump will meet Russian President Putin next week to end the Russia-Ukraine war. But with this announcement, the President of Ukraine Jailonski is upset, as Ukraine is not being included in this meeting. Trump announced that he would meet President Vladimir Putin next week in Alaska. The aim of this much awaited meeting is to discuss the possibilities of ending Ukraine War. Trump has described this meeting as an important step towards peace and said that its date has been fixed on 15 August. However, the meeting has not yet been formally confirmed by Russia.
Trump decided the date and place of the meeting
Trump said in a post on social media, “I will meet Putin in Alaska next Friday. In this meeting we will consider the way to end the war in Ukraine. Further information will be shared soon.” He also added that this meeting could be important not only between the US and Russia, but also for restoration of peace globally.
Jailonski upset due to non -inclusion in the meeting
Jailonski is upset over Ukraine not being included in this meeting. He has said many times that Ukraine should be included in the US and Russia meeting. Jailonsky says that any meeting to discuss the Ukraine War is incomplete in his absence. However, in the meantime, there are reports that Jailonski has also agreed to meet Putin. After Trump and Putin’s meeting, the next meeting may be held between Putin and Jailonski.
Cremlin can place these conditions in front of Trump
Regarding the status of Russia, some analysts believe that Kremlin may propose to release areas that are outside the four disputed areas that Russia has already claimed to include in its territory.
