Peshawar: Terrorists in Pakistan have carried out a major incident. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of North-Western Pakistan, terrorists have bombed a government school. Giving information, official sources said that the school which the terrorists have targeted are located in Barmel Tehsil of South Waziristan district. According to sources, the blast has caused heavy damage to many school rooms and boundary walls. He said that there is no information about any casualty in this attack.

Terrorists blew the bridge

According to police sources, incidents of violence in the area have increased in recent times due to which people are scared. Things have become such that educational activities in the area have also been badly disrupted. Meanwhile, the terrorists have blasted and blown three bridges. Due to the damage of the bridge, it has had an impact on the Vana-Azam Warsak highway and people have faced problems. Local people have expressed concern over such incidents.

Local people demand this from the government

After the bomb blasts, the local people have demanded the government to start immediate investigation and increase security measures. Earlier on June 6, unknown miscreants also exploded in a government school building in Akbari village of Gul Imam police station area of Tank district. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) separated group in Tank district is against the education of girls and usually targets schools.

There have been attacks before

In the same year (2025) In the month of July, a government school under construction for girls in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was blew up by terrorists. The terrorists kept explosives inside the Ajan Javed Primary School in the Baka Sports Police area of Bannu district. The building was severely damaged due to the horrific explosion.

More than 1000 schools targeted

Meanwhile, let us also know that according to a report by the Australian ‘Think Tank’ Lovi Institute, more than 1,100 girls schools have been targeted in tribal areas between 2007 and 2017. The terrorists have also turned teachers and students. Prior to the military campaign launched by Pakistani security forces in 2014, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had carried out hundreds of attacks on girls’ schools in the tribal areas of northwest province and other districts of northwest province. After this action, TTP terrorists fled to Afghanistan and are carrying out the plans for attacks from their new bases. (Language)
