ISRO is going to make another big explosion soon. The Space Research Agency of India has recently launched the world’s most expensive satellite NISAR. Now the space agency is about to send another satellite in space, which will enable space connectivity to mobile. ISRO will soon launch the US’s 6,500 kg Block-2 Bluebird satellite. ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan has given this information. This satellite will reach India next month, which will be sent from Sriharikota Space Station in Andhra Pradesh. ISRO’s LVM-3-M5 rocket of this satellite will be taken into space.
What is Block-2 Bluebird Satellite?
This satellite of the American company is of mobile phone data and call connectivity. Through this satellite, connectivity can be established directly between the ground and space. According to the report, it has a communication of 64.38 square meters, which will be connected to a mobile phone. This satellite of the blued will work on 3GPP standard frequency.
The special feature of this satellite is that it will directly deliver broadband internet through satellite in smartphones. No base terminal will be required for this. Data can be accessed at speed up to 12MBPS through communication eras installed in satellite. With this, telecom companies from all over the world will be able to provide 3G, 4G and 5G service. In this, data and video calling facility can be taken along with voice.
Preparation for satellite service launching
Apart from this, preparations are also underway to launch satellite internet service in India. Companies like Elon Musk’s Starlink, Jio and Airtel have received approval to launch satellite broadband service in India.
The Department of Telecommunications will soon approve the spectrum allocation, after which the service of these companies will be launched. Satellite broadband service providers such as Starlink have tested direct-to-cell technology a few months ago. In this too, users’ phone will be connected to direct satellite. This service can be availed during emergency.
