Mumbai Police has once again received a threatening call. This time, the caller threatened to blow up the McDonald’s located in Dadar.

Mumbai: Mumbai Police has received a threatening call, in which the caller said that there will be a blast in McDonald’s. On this, Mumbai Police officers became active and started investigation. 

Mumbai Police said that the police control room received a call on Sunday morning. The caller said he was traveling on a bus today when he overheard two people talking about blowing up a McDonald’s. He told that they were saying that there would be a blast in McDonald’s located in Dadar area of ​​Mumbai.

Police to probe incident

After the call, the control room informed the police officials. On this the police team reached the spot and investigated thoroughly. Besides, security arrangements have been increased in crowded areas. Suspicious persons are being kept under surveillance.

However, the police did not find any suspicious object during the investigation. Police are investigating further in this matter.

The police has now registered a case and started searching for the accused. Police said that further probe is underway.

On May 17, a blast threat was received in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, where PM Modi’s rally was held. The caller had said that there would be a massive explosion during the rally, but when the police investigated the matter nothing was found. The police registered a case and arrested the person who made the call.
