NSE Nifty Midcap Above 52000 Mark First Time In History BSE Market Cap Closes At Record High Sensex Nifty Subdued

But strong buying has been seen in the shares of metals energy sector. Due to heavy buying in midcap stocks, MIFTI's midcap index has succeeded in crossing the 52,000 mark for the first time. The market cap of BSE has closed at a historical high. At the end of today's trading, BSE Sensex closed at 73,953 points with a fall of 52 points while Nifty closed with a gain of 27 points.

Due to the rise in the stocks of many sectors in the stock market, the market cap of the stocks listed on BSE has reached a historic high. The BSE market cap closed at Rs 414.58 lakh crore, which was closed at Rs 412.35 lakh crore in the last session. That is, in today's session, investors' wealth has seen a jump of Rs 2.23 lakh crore.

In today's trading session, Nifty Midcap, the index of midcap stocks, created history. Nifty Midcap has closed beyond the 52,000 mark for the first time. However, there was a decline in the small cap index. But in today's session, there has been a rise in Energy, Metals, Oil and Gas, Commodity, Pharma and Auto stocks. Whereas the stocks of IT banking, FMCG sector closed with a decline. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 13 stocks closed with gains and 17 closed with losses.

Whereas Nestle closed with a fall of 1.37 percent, Maruti 1.03 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.85 percent, ICICI Bank 0.84 percent.
