Dehradun. Offline registration for Chardham Yatra has been closed till 31st May. The decision has been taken keeping in mind the travel arrangements. CM Dhami has given necessary guidelines in this regard. Due to the bumper crowd arriving for the Char Dham Yatra, the slots for the Yatra have become full, after which the registration counters in Haridwar have been closed by the Tourism Department.

In view of the huge crowd of devotees gathering for the Chardham Yatra, the Uttarakhand government requested the pilgrims to visit only on the date given during registration and not to hide their medical history so that the journey remains pleasant. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote in one of his posts on Prepare diversion plans for tourist places.

Let us tell you that these days all four Dhams are packed with devotees. In fact, many devotees have reached Chardham Yatra even before the date given during registration, due to which the number of pilgrims has increased tremendously. To stop this, RTO and district administration teams at the local level have been asked to do strict checking.
