According to Davis, the accused first rode in a stolen car and ran away from the spot but the car crashed. He then stole another car. He was caught in Southern Austin, about 30 km away.

Lisa Davis said that the police received information in the afternoon and when the officers reached the spot, three people were found injured in the parking area. One of these people was the one whose car was stolen from the parking area. According to ‘Austin-Trevis County Emergency Medical Services’, an adult and a child died on the spot, while another adult died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. A similar attack took place in Walmart’s store in Michigan just 2 weeks ago due to this firing.
