Fastag annual pass: On Friday, August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day, Fastag Annual Pass is going to start across the country. This annual pass will be valid for one year or 200 trip from the date issued. A maximum of Rs 17,000 can be savings
Suppose, if you cross the toll 200 times at the rate of Rs 50 per toll, then according to this you have to pay Rs 10,000. But through this annual pass, you can cross 200 tolls for only 3000 rupees. Similarly, if you cross the toll plaza 200 times at Rs 100 per toll, then you have to pay a total of Rs 20,000. But through this annual pass, work will be done for only 3000 rupees. This simply means that through the fastag annual pass you can save a minimum of Rs 7000 and a maximum of Rs 17,000.
Calculation of Savings from Fastag Annual Pass
For example, if you go from Gurugram to Manesar via NH-8, you have to pay a toll of Rs 85 for a trip. If you come back from Gurugram to Manesar and Manesar to Gurugram, then you have to pay a total toll of Rs 170 for two trips. In this way, if you trip 200 on this route, then you will have to pay a total toll of Rs 17,000. But if you have a fastag annual pass, then you can put 200 trips between Gurugram to Manesar and Manesar to Gurugram for only 3000 rupees. Here you will save Rs 14,000 directly.
