A video was recently posted on the official social media handle of the Congress party, in which actor KK Menon was shown promoting the ‘vote theft’ campaign. On this, KK Menon expressed strong objections and clarified that he did not participate in this campaign and his video has been used without permission.

Menon wrote on social media, “Please note that I have not worked in this advertisement. A promotional clip of my web series ‘Special Ops’ has been edited and used, which was not allowed by me.”

It is being told that the Congress edited this clip and added a message related to the ‘vote theft’ campaign and another person, as well as the theme song of ‘Special Ops 2’ was also used. The real clip was released for series promotion by Hotstar three weeks ago, in which Menon urges to watch his series.
