Custody dispute-15-year-old girl jumped from Madras High Court building

A 15 -year -old girl at the Madras High Court in Chennai tried suicide by jumping from the first floor of the court on Tuesday evening. The girl came to court to appear. There is a dispute between the girl’s parents over her custody.

During the hearing, the High Court ordered the girl to be sent to a care home to maintain. Unhappy with this decision, the girl tried to die by jumping from the first floor of the court. Due to which she was seriously injured. He was admitted to the hospital.

Actually, the girl’s mother is from Andaman Island and father is a resident of Nilangarai, Chennai. After the mother’s second marriage, the father filed a petition in the High Court demanding to give her to the daughter.

After the incident, the court staff immediately rushed him to the hospital. The CISF and Tamil Nadu police inspected the scene and started investigating the case.

Father said in the petition- daughter missing

Father M.K. Nair had filed a Habius Corpus petition in the High Court saying that his daughter was missing. Police investigation revealed that the girl was staying at her grandmother’s house in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. She went there on her own free will, because she neither wanted to live with her mother nor with her father.

High Court Judge M.S. The girl was introduced in front of Ramesh and V. Lakshminarayanan. When she was asked with whom she wanted to live with, she said that she wants to live in Andaman with her grandmother. But the court rejected this request. The court said that according to a confidential counselor report, the atmosphere of Andaman is not suitable for him.

A day after a student of class 10th in a private school in Ahmedabad city, a video came out on Friday. The student jumped from the fourth floor. He suffered serious injuries in his leg and head. After this, private hospital was admitted. The student died late on Thursday night during treatment. However, the cause of the student’s suicide has not yet been ascertained. No suicide note has been found from the student’s school bag or home.
