Fastag Annual Pass: From midnight, the annual pass of fastag will start getting. The Central Government is going to implement the annual pass of fastag on the occasion of 79th Independence Day. Its drivers will have even more convenience in payment of tolls. The price of this annual pass is Rs 3,000 and you will be able to pay 200 trips on the toll plaza on any national highway i.e. the national highway in the whole year, that is, you will cost an average of Rs 15 on every toll.
Where to buy Fastag’s annual pass?
Annual pass of fastag will be quite beneficial for those who repeatedly use the national highway. They will not need to recharge their fastag repeatedly. Explain that the drivers will not need to buy a new fastag for the annual pass. They can recharge their old fastag only with the annual pass. Come, know where to recharge the annual pass of fastag?
You can only buy and activate the fastag’s annual pass from the highway travel (Rajmargyatra) mobile app and NHAI website. You cannot recharge the annual pass with Paytm, PhonePe or any other payment app. Also, you will not be able to buy an annual pass for the fasting number of the fastag vehicle who is registered with the chassis number. To recharge the annual pass, the registration number of the vehicle should be linked with your fastag.
How to recharge?
- For this you go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Download the highway travel app from there.
- Log-in to the app and fill your fastag details.
- After this you will see the option to buy an annual pass.
- After tapping on the option, pay and recharge the annual pass of the fastag.
- Apart from this, you can also recharge it by going to the annual pass section on the NHAI website.
Whenever you cross a toll plaza through the annual pass of the fastag, an alert will be found on your registered mobile number, which will show how much trip you have completed through the annual pass and how much trip is left. If you go somewhere, the up and down will be considered as two trips, because in this you cross the toll plaza twice.
