79th Independence Day is being celebrated with full enthusiasm in India, congratulatory messages received
India Independence Day Celebration
Washington/Singapore: India’s neighboring countries and global partners on Friday congratulated the country on the 79th Independence Day. Maldives President Mohammad Mujju, while wishing President Draupadi Murmu, said that “India has always been a reliable development partner of Maldives”. Mujju posted on social media on Friday, “I appreciate the high-level relationship between the two countries and the growing contact between the people. It outlines the strong cooperation between us.”
Singapore Foreign Minister gave best wishes
Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan also congratulated India on Independence Day and emphasized the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries. Balakrishnan posted on social media, “Congratulations to India on the 79th Independence Day. This week the ministerial meeting underlined the strength of our relationship. We are celebrating the completion of 60 years of diplomatic relations.”
Nepal congratulations message
Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba, while wishing his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar on Independence Day, said that Nepal gives great importance to his long -term and permanent partnership with India. Deuba posted on social media on Friday, “On this Independence Day, we wish the people of India constant prosperity. India remained a bright example of democracy and inspires countries around the world.”
Marco Rubio congratulated
On behalf of the US, External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio on Friday congratulated India on the occasion of India’s Independence Day. Rubio said in a statement that India and the United States will face modern challenges “working together and will ensure a bright future for the two countries.
