Growing in India-China relations, 2 Chinese ministers came to Independence Day celebrations
The relations between India and China seem to be moving towards betterment.
Beijing: The presence of 2 senior Chinese ministers at a spectacular ceremony held in Beijing on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day gave the message of growing proximity between the two countries. The ceremony was held for the first time after Kovid-19 epidemic and long-lasting deadlock in eastern Ladakh. On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Chinese Foreign Ministry, Miyo Deeu and Deputy Minister of the International Department of the ruling Communist Party, Sun Haiyan attended the chief guest.
Tremendous enthusiasm showed in the ceremony
Many people from the Indian community attended this colorful ceremony held at the Indian Embassy. Indian Ambassador Pradeep Kumar Rawat hoisted the tricolor and emphasized the importance of India-China relations. He said, ‘People of our two countries have played a big role in shaping human history. It is our responsibility to promote peace and progress. India and China’s relations are a strong foundation for stability and balance amidst global uncertainties. Both countries need to maintain a balanced relationship on the basis of mutual respect, sensitivity and shared interests.
Chinese minister’s positive message
Deputy Minister Sun Haiyan congratulated India on Independence Day and said that the relationship between the two countries is currently moving towards betterment and development. He said, ‘China, along with India, is ready to implement the important consent between the leaders of the two countries, strengthen mutual trust, exchange and increase cooperation. We want to promote healthy and stable relationships. ‘ Sun also added that the Chinese Communist Party wants to exchange and interact with all political parties in India.
Why this event is being considered special?
This event is also considered special because Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit China later this month. He can go to Tianjin to participate in a two -day meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) starting on 31 August. The tour is expected to further strengthen relations between the two countries. At the same time, before the ceremony, an international news agency claimed that Deputy Minister Sun Haiyan was detained by Chinese officials for questioning. However, his presence at the ceremony proved this news completely wrong.
