Atal Bihari Vajpayee was three times Prime Minister
Vajpayee was one of the founders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He became the Prime Minister of the country thrice. His first term was just 13 days in 1996. He then became Prime Minister again in 1998 and took over the post for 13 months. In 1999, he became the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. He was the first non-Congress leader who completed his term as Prime Minister. Vaypayee is credited with advancing economic reforms, paving the way for rapid development of the country.
