After the accident, at least 19 injured passengers were evacuated from damaged coaches to the hospital, where one person died. The report quoted Lodharan Deputy Commissioner Dr. Lubna Nazir as saying that the condition of 2 other passengers is critical. He said, “The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.” He informed that railway services on this railway line have been normally restored. (Language)
