4 October 2024 on the second day of Shardiya Navratri Mother Brahmacharini Will be worshipped. On this day, devotees worship this form of Mother Goddess, who is a symbol of restraint, sacrifice and sadhana. Mother Brahmacharini is considered to be the form of Goddess Parvati, who attained Lord Shiva on the strength of rigorous penance.

Method of worship:

  • Devotees start the day by taking a holy bath and lighting a lamp in front of the idol or picture of Maa Brahmacharini.
  • Flowers, sandalwood, akshat (rice), roli, and white clothes are offered to him.
  • Sugar and Panchamrit are offered to the mother.
  • By meditating and chanting mantras, the mother is prayed for restraint, patience and courage in life.
