IMD Alert: There will be heavy rain in these 10 states, know what will be the weather in your area

As soon as the monsoon retreated from the north-western part of the country, the temperature has increased by 3-5 degrees Celsius above normal. The temperature of Rajasthan can reach 40 degrees Celsius while the heat has also increased in Delhi and Haryana. Rainfall Alert:  With the withdrawal of monsoon from the North-West of the country, the temperature has reached 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above normal. Heat has suddenly increased in many states including Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) says that this increase in temperature is short-lived.

The IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain in more than 10 states on Friday, October 4, during the next 24 hours.

According to the IMD forecast, today (October 4) there may be heavy rain in Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Assam. At the same time, heavy rains with strong winds are expected in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Rayalaseema till October 8. The weather will be clear in north-western India including the country’s capital Delhi.

Temperature may reach 40°C in Rajasthan

According to IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi will be around 27°C and the maximum temperature will be 38°C. The weather will remain dry and there will be some warmth in the air. At the same time, monsoon is leaving western Uttar Pradesh, due to which the weather is expected to remain normal. However, there is a possibility of light rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh. The temperature in the western part of Rajasthan may reach 40°C. At the same time, the increasing heat in the weather has increased the concern of farmers of other states including UP-Bihar who cultivate paddy.

Light rain and thundershowers are possible in eastern Bihar. However, the weather will remain normal in most areas. Temperatures may drop at night in hilly areas. Mild cold may be felt in high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Let us tell you that the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius on the previous day, which was three degrees above normal. At the same time, the maximum temperature in Sirsa, Haryana was 39 degrees Celsius, 36.3 degrees Celsius in Rohtak, 38 degrees Celsius in Jaipur and 40 degrees Celsius in Churu.

IMD Director General M Mohapatra said that usually the temperature rises in late September and early October. However, then it will gradually decrease and the humidity level will decrease, but it will take a few days.

IMD had released a forecast on Tuesday itself, in which it was said that most parts of the country are likely to receive more than normal rainfall during October. Not only this, the day and night temperatures across the country are also predicted to be above normal in October. Let us inform that on the basis of data from the year 1971 to 2020, the LPA of rainfall across the country during October is 75.4 mm.
