China flash floods: A camp was hit by a sudden flood in northern China, killing 8 people and 4 others went missing. Information about this has been given on Sunday in the news of government media. The system of temporary people to stay temporarily by placing tents along the rivers or naturally beautiful sites is called the camp.

Rescue work continues

According to government news agency Xinhua, 13 people were initially reported missing. By Sunday morning one person was rescued and the bodies of 8 people were recovered. Search and rescue operations for the remaining 4 missing people continue. Under the Urad rear banner of Northern China, the disaster came around 10 pm on Saturday at around 10 pm which is a large mountainous area of the ‘Inner Mongolia Autonomous’ region and is known for its popular camps.

Floods and landslides incidents in China

There have been many incidents of sudden floods and landslides in northern China in recent weeks. Earlier this month, at least 10 people died and 33 others went missing in the floods in the northwest Gansu province. Other parts of the country have also been affected by heavy rains and Hong Kong has recorded a record rainfall.

Flood havoc also showed in the capital Beijing

Meanwhile, let us also tell you that more than 44 people have died due to floods in Chinese capital Beijing due to torrential rains in recent times. Officers in Beijing are conducting disaster relief and rescue operations, while many roads have been damaged.
