Stock market opened with a slight increase, these stocks started trading rapidly
Share Market Opening 19 August, 2025: The domestic stock market today started trading with a slight increase. On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex opened at 81,319.11 points with a brilliant boom of 45.36 points (0.06%). Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 index also started trading at 24,891 points with a gain of 14.40 points (0.06%). Let us tell you that on Monday, the BSE Sensex had a spectacular gains of 676.09 points (0.84%) at 81,273.75 points and the Nifty 50 index also closed at 24,876.95 points with a bumper rapid of 245.65 points (1.00%).
Reliance Industries shares start strongly
Today, only 14 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase and the shares of all the remaining 16 companies opened in red mark. Similarly, today, only 21 out of 50 of Nifty 50 also started trading in green mark and 28 company shares opened in red mark. Whereas 1 company shares opened today without any change. The shares of Reliance Industries, who were among the Sensex companies, opened with the highest 1.81 percent gain today and HCL Tech’s shares today opened with a decline of 0.55 percent today.
NTPC, Airtel shares started trading in green mark
In other Sensex’s other companies on Tuesday, NTPC shares 1.13 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.89 percent, Adani Ports 0.70 percent, Tretn 0.32 percent, Tata Steel 0.19 percent, SBI 0.15 percent, TCS 0.13 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.13 percent, Titan 0.11 percent, Eriton 0.11 percent, Eriton Hindustan Unilever opened with 0.07 percent and Asian Paints shares with a gain of 0.02 percent.
Initial disadvantages in Mahindra, Tata Motors, Maruti
On the other hand, today Mahindra & Mahindra shares 0.54 percent, Axis Bank 0.50 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.46 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.44 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.41 percent, Sun Power 0.33 percent, Powergrid 0.28 percent, HDFC Bank 0.26 percent, BEL 0.22 percent, ITC 0.22 percent, ITC 0.22 percent 0.21 percent, ICICI Bank opened 0.08 percent, Ultratech Cement 0.06 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.05 percent and L&T shares with loss of 0.04 percent.
