The meeting between National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New Delhi has raised a new hope in the relationship between the two countries. In this meeting, Ajit Doval said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon visit China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, so today’s conversation is very special.
During a conversation with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Ajit Doval said that there was peace and stability on the border. He said, “The boundaries are calm, peace and harmony have been maintained. Our bilateral relations have become even stronger.” He also recalled the meeting between President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Modi in Kazan last year and said that the meeting has given a new direction to bilateral relations, which has helped in progress in various fields.
At the same time, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also expressed happiness to meet Doval. He said that in the last few years, the ups and downs in the relationship between the two countries were not in the interest of any country. Referring to the Kazan meeting, Wang also said that the meeting had set a direction for the development of proper solutions and bilateral relations of the border dispute.
