Young batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who is running out of the Indian Test cricket team, is currently spewing runs in the Buchi Babu tournament. He has once again reminded the BCCI by playing a stormy innings of 138 runs in 114 balls against TNCA XI while playing for Mumbai, how much mistake the selectors made by excluding them.

Sarfaraz Khan, who scored 371 runs in six Tests for India, scored this century on Monday (August 18), after which he came into the limelight. In this match played against TNCA XI on Gogen Cricket Ground B, Sarfaraz came out to bat at number five for the Mumbai team and scored 138 off 114 balls before retired. While staying at the crease on Monday, Sarfaraz hit 10 fours and 6 sixes.

Sarfaraz added 72 runs for the fourth wicket with Suved Parkar (72 off 121 balls) and more than 100 runs for the sixth wicket with Akash Parkar. Seeing this innings, fans on social media are also trolling the BCCI and demanding to include Sarfaraz in the Test team against the West Indies.

Sarfaraz, who scored two half -centuries in his Test debut for India against England in Rajkot last year and 150 runs in the second innings of the Bengaluru Test against New Zealand in November 2024, was ignored by the BCCI selectors for the five -match Test series in England on 24 May. India now have to fight in the upcoming domestic series against West Indies and South Africa at home and Sarfaraz would like his performance to entice the selectors to get a chance in the Indian team again.
