Amravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Tuesday that a devotee of Lord Venkateswara Swamy has decided to donate 121 kg of gold for thanking his business success. He told that the cost of the gold that the devotee wants to offer is around Rs 140 crore. This devotee wants to keep his identity secret. The Chief Minister said this at the ‘Poverty Alleviation’ (P4) program in Mangalagiri.
Devotee saw the dream of starting a company
Naidu said that this devotee had dreamed of starting a company. He said that by the grace of Lord Venkateswara Swami, not only became his company, but he also achieved great success. Naidu said, ‘This devotee decided that he would give credit for his progress to God. So now he is offering 121 kg gold to Venkateswara Swami. He further stated that this devotee earned US $ 1.5 billion by selling 60 percent shares of his company.
The idol is decorated with 120 kg of gold jewelery?
Naidu said that he wants to dedicate a part of his wealth to the devotee God, because he feels that all this happened to the kindness of Lord Venkateswara. Naidu also told that the idol of Lord Venkateswara Swami is decorated with about 120 kg of gold jewelery every day. When this devotee came to know about this, he decided to donate 121 kg of gold.
