Today, on August 19, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Delhi committed to resolve the border dispute with India, maintain peace on the outskirts and strengthen friendly talukat. What is the reason for a change in China’s attitude?

The strong strategy of India and the infrastructure growing rapidly on the outskirts of this changed stance of China. India has intensified the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels and airstrips on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Nyoma Airfield in East Ladakh is going to start next month. It is the tallest airstrip in the world, built at an altitude of 13,700 feet. It is just 35 km from LAC. With this airfield, fighter aircraft like Globemaster like heavy cargo aircraft, Sukhoi, Rafael, MiG-29 and attack helicopters like Apache, MI-17 will be easily landed. In an emergency, India will be able to deploy soldiers and military equipment rapidly.

The 256 km long DS-DBO Road from Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) in eastern Ladakh has further increased India’s strategic strength. Earlier this path used to take 10-12 hours, but now this distance will be covered in less than 5 hours. Colonel Mahesh said about this, ‘Earlier it was difficult to bring soldiers and weapons to LAC due to bumpy routes. Now DS-DBO Road has made this task easy. 35 new bridges have been built on this road, from which tanks, missile launcher trucks and armored vehicles will be able to pass easily. Many long tunnels and new roads are also being built in Arunachal Pradesh.

China has now understood that the two countries are disadvantage due to conflict with India. India has developed the infrastructure on the border four times faster in the last 10 years.
