Six Kings Slam will be one of Rafael Nadal’s final events of his career.

The Six Kings Slam has been one of the most eagerly awaited events in the tennis world. The exhibition will have the top players from the ATP tour compete in the hardcourts of Riyadh. The four day event will have matches taking place for three days with one day given as rest for the players. The fans in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will get to see top class action.

The event will feature Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune. The six players will be clashing against each other for a record-breaking amount of prize money. All the participants will receive $1.5m dollars (about INR 13 crores) and the winner will be receiving $6m (about INR 51 crores).

The pay check is the highest of all time in tennis yet. The staggering figures is one of the reasons why the event will have their name etched in history. Apart from having legendary players, the format is also unique unlike any ATP event. With players only having to play a maximum of three matches in over four days gives them adequate rest.

The scoring format could also be interesting as it will be revealed ahead of the matches. Fans will get to see Nadal ahead of his retirement in the Davis Cup Finals in Málaga, Spain. The Spaniard had earlier announced his journey had come to an end in the court. He will hope to pull up a few vintage shots in Riyadh.

It could also deliver in terms of a perfect pre-farewell match like how Laver Cup managed in 2022. Nadal this time could have hitting sessions with Djokovic in front of the crowd. While the focus will be on Nadal, Djokovic there will also be Sinner, Alcaraz, Mevdedev and Rune showcasing their talents on the court.

The Six Kings Slam will begin from October 16 and go on till October 19. The finals and third place playoffs will be on October 19.
