According to religious beliefs, the day of Sharad Purnima is considered very auspicious and sacred, hence no work should be done on this day which may anger Goddess Lakshmi. Do not get angry on this day even by mistake, do not abuse anyone. Mother may get angry by doing this.
Apart from this, one should not send the poor home empty handed on Sharad Purnima, rather donate something to them, doing this brings blessings of the Goddess. Do not insult anyone on this day. Bad thoughts should not be allowed to arise in the mind. Stay away from debate also.
