New Delhi, 16 October (Hindustan Reporter). Coal India’s Chhattisgarh-based subsidiary South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has become the first coal company to open four Amrit pharmacies. The country’s 216th Amrit Pharmacy was inaugurated by Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of SECL.
Taking an important step towards providing affordable and accessible healthcare, Coal India’s Chhattisgarh-based subsidiary SECL has set up the country’s 216th Amrit Pharmacy (affordable medicines and reliable implants for treatment), the Coal Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday. Inaugurated.
Highlighting the company’s commitment to inclusive growth, Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra said that with our fourth Amrit Pharmacy, we are looking forward to providing healthcare not only to our employees but also to the larger community, especially in the tribal and rural areas of the coal belt. This pharmacy has been opened in the health center located at SECL’s Indira Vihar Colony in Bilaspur. It is equipped with new facilities, making SECL the first coal company to operate four Amrit pharmacies. Apart from this, these pharmacies are located in the central hospitals in the operational areas of Gevra in Korba district, Sohagpur (MP) in Shahdol district and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Chirmiri in Bharatpur district. It has a wide range of medicines available under one roof for common and serious conditions like cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
