Sriganganagar News Desk: On the occasion of Lord Valmiki’s Manifest Day, processions were taken out in different areas of the city on Wednesday. This procession left from different areas of the city including Ward 5, Kabir Chowk. The people participating in the procession visited the temple of Lord Valmiki at Valmiki Samaj Dharamshala located in Indira Chowk. Here prominent people including former Municipal Council Chairman Shyamlal Dhariwal welcomed the procession.
A conscious tableau of Lord Shiva in the procession that started from Kabir Chowk. Various tableaux included tableaux of Radha Krishna, Bajrang Bali, Luvkush riding the chariot and tableaus of Mata Sita and Luvkush. Devotees worshiped the idols of Lord Valmiki, Lavkush and Matang Rishi in the temple of Lord Valmiki established in the Valmiki Dharamshala complex. The enthusiasm of the people in the procession was palpable; people came out on the streets to see the procession moving forward with the music of the band.
