Here we have information about 7 new electric SUVs in 2025 from carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata and Toyota

Currently Tata Motors is the leader in the passenger electric car segment. Many new cars will be launched in the electric midsize SUV segment next year and here we have listed 7 possible new models from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata and Toyota.

1. Hyundai Creta EV

The price of the electric version of Hyundai Creta is expected to be less than Rs 20 lakh. This car is currently being tested on Indian roads, many pictures of which have already been revealed. Let us tell you that it will share its platform with the ICE version of Creta and its range will be more than 450 km.

2&3. Maruti Suzuki EVX and Toyota EV

The growing collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota is set to bring its first electric vehicle to the Indian market in 2025. Maruti Suzuki’s EVX will launch early next year and will be followed by Toyota’s version in the second half of the year. Both the electric cars will have a 60 kWh battery pack, which will claim a driving range of over 550 km. These electric models will not be limited to India only; These will also be exported to various international markets.

4. Tata Harrier EV

The electric version of the Tata Harrier is set to launch in the first quarter of 2025, sharing many components with the recently introduced Curve EV. Notably, the Harrier EV is expected to get a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge. Additionally, it will be the first Tata electric vehicle to feature a dual electric motor setup, offering the e-4WD system, which will enhance its off-road capabilities.

5&6. Mahindra XUV.e8 and XUV.e9

The production-spec Mahindra XUV.e8 will reportedly be introduced in the first half of 2025 and will take a lot of inspiration from its concept version. However, its equipment list will be similar to the XUV700. It will be based on a dedicated EV platform and is expected to have a range of more than 450 km. Its coupe version, the XUV.e9, is also set to enter the market next year.

7. Mahindra BE.05

MAHINDRA-BE.05-INTERIOR-SPIED

The Mahindra BE.05 was recently leaked during an ad shoot, suggesting that it could be introduced early next year. It will be based on a dedicated EV platform and will be offered across a wide range, powered by a Valeo-sourced electric motor that will send power only to the rear wheels.
