Noida, October 17 (IANS). Due to the promptness of Noida Cyber ​​Cell Police, lakhs of rupees of a victim were returned to his account within just 12 days of being defrauded. Cyber ​​​​thugs had digitally arrested the victim and cheated him of lakhs of rupees.

Giving information, Cyber ​​Cell has said that on August 23, the victim was digitally arrested after making him an accused in various cases like money laundering etc. On August 27, Rs 5,20,000 was transferred from the complainant’s account to the suspicious account by cyber thugs who threatened him and demanded money from him. After which the victim lodged an online complaint on the NCRP portal.

This complaint was received on October 3 through NCRP portal at Cyber ​​Crime Sector 36 Noida police station. After this, on this complaint, the police station cyber crime team took immediate action and got the suspect’s account frozen and within just 12 days, the entire amount of money defrauded by the victim was returned to the victim through the court.

Cyber ​​Cell has made people aware that the police does not arrest anyone digitally on phone call. The Supreme Court or any other court does not hear such cases through phone calls. Physical money is not verified from your account by RBI or any other institution.

In this way, posing as a CBI officer, cyber officer, RBI or an officer of any other institution, you get a phone call, internet, Skype, Zoom video call and are asked to transfer money in the name of investigation or money laundering.
