Barabanki, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). The sports festival was organized by Abhyudaya Youth Club at Paika ground of Nagar Panchayat Ramsanehighat. The program was inaugurated by chief guest, regional MLA and Minister of State for Food, Logistics and Civil Supplies, Satish Chandra Sharma by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, he said that such competitions help in enhancing the talent of the village. Today, work is being done by the government machinery in the education sector at basic, secondary and higher levels. Quality education is being provided to children by the Central and State Governments. But where something is missing, a single campaign is working. The government has always worked to encourage sports.

During the competition, Vinay of Tikaitnagar stood first in 100 meters in the boys category, Mohit of Kotwadham stood second in 200 meters. Fringal stood first and Vinay of Mahadeva stood second. In the 400 meter race, Abhay Mishra of Haidergarh stood first and Himanshu of Siddhaur stood second. In the girls category, Jyoti of Siddhaur stood first, Komal of Daryabad stood second, Sakshi of Mawai stood first in the 200 meter race. Kajal of Mahadeva stood second, Vibha of Haidergarh got first position and Kshama of Inhauna got second position in 400 meters race. In the Kabaddi competition, players of Tikaitnagar won by defeating players of Haidergarh.

In the high jump boys category, Agam of Haidergarh got the first position while Deepak got the second position.

In the girls category, Kajal of Mahadeva stood first, Monica of Ramnagar stood second, and Komal of Mawai stood third. In the long jump girls category, Madhu of Mawai got first place and Monica of Ramnagar got second place.

In the boys category, Fringal from Kotwadham got first place, Shailendra from Daryabad got second place.

In wrestling, Tikaitnagar team won by defeating Haidergarh.

The program was concluded by Scheduled Tribe Commission Chairman and former MP Baijnath Rawat. While giving awards to all the winners, he said that all the children should move ahead and bring glory to the country.
