Z security to Delhi CM Rekha Gupta after the attack
The Central Government has provided VIP protection of Z category to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. In CM Security, 22 to 25 armed personnel will be deployed 24 hours.
Gupta and his official residence will be protected by VIP Security Group of paramilitary forces. The group is also deployed under the protection of Union Home Ministers Amit Shah and Sonia-Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
In fact, the CM Rekha was attacked by a man during a public hearing at around 8.15 am on 20 August. The accused is Rajeshbhai Khimji, a resident of Rajkot in Gujarat, who was immediately arrested.
The accused was presented at a magistrate’s house in Dwarka, southwest Delhi on Wednesday night. After this, he has been sent on 5 days police remand. Rajesh has been booked for attempt to murder.
In Gujarat too, 5 cases have already been registered on Rajesh, including knife. However, he did not find any weapons during his arrest. Intelligence Bureau and Delhi Police Special Cell are questioning him.
Rajesh, who arrived as a complainant in Jansunwai, attacked the CM while giving paper. In the attack, CM Rekha has suffered injuries on the hands, shoulders and heads. She is currently working from home.
The accused also did Reiki a day before the attack
Accused Rajeshbhai had done Reiki at the residence of CM Rekha Gupta at Shalimar Bagh before the attack. On August 19, the accused was shown in the CCTV cameras installed in the CM’s residence. In the CCTV footage, he was seen talking to someone on the phone. Then the phone was constantly seen recording outside the CM residence.
In another CCTV footage, he appeared sitting inside the office of the Chief Minister’s private residence and recording the video. Sources said that two videos of the public hearing program have also been found from the mobile phone of the accused.
