The criminal with a reward was trying to escape to Nepal in Shravasti, was killed in an encounter.

A criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 was caught in an encounter with the Bhinga Kotwali police team in Shravasti, UP. In the encounter that took place near Bhinga forest, the police shot the criminal in the leg. Police recovered 315 bore pistol, one live cartridge, 1 cartridge and a bike from his possession. The injured criminal has been admitted to the district hospital.

Let us tell you that this is the history sheet of Sonu, son of Mewalal, resident of Dinamgarh village of Ikauna police station area. A case has been registered against him in Maharajganj Terai police station of Balrampur district. A reward of Rs 50 thousand has also been announced on him. At around 11 pm, police received information that he was trying to escape from Bhinga forest.

He was taken to the district hospital for treatment
Based on the information of the informer, the surveillance team of Bhinga Kotwali police caught him. Sonu opened fire on the police team. After this the police shot him in the leg and arrested him. After which he was brought to the district hospital for treatment.

Giving information about the case, SP said that the accused criminal was absconding in a case of Maharajganj Terai police station of Balrampur district. On which a reward of Rs 50 thousand was announced in Devipatan division and Rs 25 thousand in Balrampur division.

22 cases have been reported in 4 districts
Eight cases have been registered against the injured criminals under Gangster Act, theft and attempt to murder in Gonda, five in Bahraich, four in Balrampur and five in Shravasti. Police have recovered a 315 bore pistol, one cartridge, one live cartridge and a bike without number plate from him.
